Two unique medieval shipwrecks discovered in Sweden

The remains of two medieval cogs have been discovered in Varberg, on the west coast of Sweden. The wrecks were discovered during an archaeological excavation and date to roughly the 14th century.

Remains of a ceremonial site from the Neolithic period are currently being investigated by archaeologists. The site comprises a causewayed enclosure and wetland offerings dating to 3,500-3,000 BC.
