The remains of two medieval cogs have been discovered in Varberg, on the west coast of Sweden. The wrecks were discovered during an archaeological excavation and date to roughly the 14th century.

Two boat burials from the Viking Age have been discovered in Uppsala. One of the two graves was intact with the remains of a man, a horse and a dog.
